Websites for libraries

Websitesforlibraries.com is a division of Miranda Creative, Inc.,
an award-winning communications agency located in eastern Connecticut.

While our agency was established in 1988, our relationship with libraries began in 2005, when we were introduced to our friends and colleagues at the Connecticut Library Consortium (CLC) and the Connecticut Library Association (CLA).

We immediately enjoyed working with the committed and passionate librarians we met across the state, starting with the successful lobbying tools we developed on behalf of ConnectiCard. From there, we produced logo and brand materials for both CLC and CLA, as well as a few regional libraries including the soon to be reopened Guilford Free Library. In addition, we were brought in to support the initial launch, and later expanded launch, of InfoAnytime. Most recently, we have been behind the new logo and increased profile of iCONN, working with Bill Sullivan and his team to bring measurable new traffic to this outstanding digital resource.

Our scope of work for these projects has been broad, from expected direct mail pieces and print materials, to the constantly changing world of interactive media. Naturally, our journey brought us to a number of libraries struggling to develop websites that were patron-friendly, easy to maintain, and flexible in their structure. When we searched for realistic and affordable options to help our library friends, we quickly learned that it was incumbent on Miranda Creative to develop a resource that surprisingly, did not exist.

Following nearly two years of experimentation, experience building two real-time library sites and hours of consideration, websitesforlibraries.com was introduced at the 117th  CLA Convention in April 2008.  We invite you to learn about our unique program, affordable prices and more about Miranda Creative at our parent website,
